Maskenball is back!
The event you've all been waiting for is back! Join us for the Annual PTO Maskenball, an adult-only formal or costume dance, hosted this year at the lovely University Club of St. Paul. The U Club was a second home to F. Scott Fitzgerald and many other St. Paul socialites in the 1920's, thus we though it fitting that the theme this year is the Roaring 20's. There will be dancing, a German DJ, appetizers, prizes, a full cash bar, and a great ambiance at the University Club, Feb. 4 from 7pm to 11:30pm.
Tickets are on sale for $30/person. Staff may purchase a ticket for $15 and interns are free. **In an effort to make this evening as stress free as possible, the PTO is making Valet parking available as our event is taking place at the same time, and just blocks away from the Crashed Ice event. Please add this on to your ticket purchase to help defray some of the cost of this service. The night of the event no tip will be required for valet parking!
What happened in the 1920's? Gangsters like Al Capone made waves. Flappers shimmied their fringes to the Charleston. Athletes like Babe Ruth set a new bar. Actors like Rudolph Valentino and William Haines defined tall, dark, and handsome. Music was thriving with great artists like Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller and many more. Movies learned to talk. The Republicans ruled the top office with Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge and Herbert Hoover. Coco Chanel pushed fashion into a modern elegance. Comedians like Charlie Chaplin and the Marx brothers drew laughs. Agatha Christie created suspense. And women finally gained the right to vote.

A limited number of tables will be available to Maskenball guests at the University Club's Ramsey Room for dinner prior to the event. This is a great opportunity to experience a restaurant typically limited to members only! Dinner entrees run between $20-35 and reservations are required. *A jacket is required for men.
